“Towel Day is celebrated on 25th May every year since 2001 as a tribute to the author Douglas Adams. On this day, fans openly carry a towel with them, as described in Adams's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, to demonstrate their appreciation for the books and the author.”

Unfortunately, the planned Bibliotherapy Read-a-thon to mark this year's Towel Day had to be cancelled, but here's a glimpse at the infinite wisdom Douglas left for humanity.
